MSC Cruises is set to enhance its presence in North America by deploying seven ships from U.S. ports for the winter 2025-26 season, marking an increase from five ships the previous winter.

The MSC World America, which is slated to debut in Miami in April 2025, will continue its voyages from Miami the following winter. The ship will offer seven-night Caribbean itineraries, while the MSC Seaside will offer a mix of three- to seven-night itineraries from Miami, and the MSC Divina will embark on Caribbean routes of up to 11 nights.

In addition to its existing homeports of Miami, Port Canaveral, and New York City, MSC Cruises will introduce Galveston as a new homeport. The MSC Seascape will begin its inaugural season in Galveston in November 2025, offering seven-night Western Caribbean itineraries. This expansion follows MSC's agreement for a new terminal in Galveston.

Port Canaveral will see an increase in MSC ships with the addition of the MSC Grandiosa, which will sail seven-night Caribbean itineraries, joining the MSC Seashore, which will operate three- and four-day cruises.

In New York, the MSC Meraviglia will continue to sail year-round from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, offering seven-night Florida-Bahamas itineraries.

This strategic expansion aims to provide more options for U.S.-based cruisers and strengthen MSC Cruises' foothold in the North American market.
