Royal Caribbean International has officially added Utopia of the Seas to its fleet, marking a significant milestone with a celebration in Saint-Nazaire, France.

This new ship, built at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard, is set to debut from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, in July. The handover event, attended by over 1,600 workers and crew members, was a grand affair held in the exclusive AquaTheater. Key figures like Jason Liberty, CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, Michael Bayley, CEO of Royal Caribbean International, and Laurent Castaing, CEO of Chantiers de l'Atlantique, were present to commemorate this achievement.

Utopia of the Seas represents the latest in Royal Caribbean's innovative Oasis Class, offering both three-night weekend getaways and four-night midweek escapes. The ship features over 40 dining and drinking venues, multiple pools, and a range of thrilling and relaxing activities. Guests can also enjoy exclusive experiences at Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, which adds to the appeal of these short yet memorable cruises.

Ahead of its July 19 debut, Utopia will sail to the United States while Royal Caribbean teams make final preparations. This ship aims to redefine short vacations, providing a perfect mix of excitement and relaxation. With amenities like the longest dry slide at sea, The Ultimate Abyss, and an array of pools catering to different moods, Utopia promises a unique experience for all types of travelers.

Dining on Utopia offers something for everyone, with options like the innovative Royal Railway – Utopia Station, which combines adventure and technology to transport guests to different destinations and time periods. Izumi and Giovanni's Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar are also notable, offering a variety of culinary delights. These diverse dining experiences ensure that every meal is a new adventure.
