Seabourn Announces Captivating 2024-2025 Asia Cruise Season
Seabourn, a leader in ultra-luxury cruising and expedition travel, is unveiling an extraordinary selection of Asia itineraries for the 2024-2025 season.
From December 2024 to March 2025, and again in November 2025, the Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest will embark on a series of voyages that showcase the diverse beauty and rich cultures of Southeast Asia and Japan. These itineraries will include new ports of call, immersive shore excursions, and curated onboard experiences, promising a truly unique adventure for guests.
The Seabourn Encore will begin with seven sailings between Singapore and Hong Kong from December 2024 to March 2025, offering 13- and 14-day options that feature highlights like the signature Caviar in the Surf experience in Koh Kood, Thailand, and overnight stays in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The ship will then continue with a 14-day voyage from Singapore to Kobe, Japan, featuring a new port call to Tokushima, Japan, and maiden visits to Kochi and Kobe. The season concludes with a 25-day transpacific journey from Kobe to Long Beach, California, marking Seabourn Encore's first-ever visit to the United States.
Seabourn Quest will set sail in spring 2025 with itineraries ranging from 14 to 34 days, exploring the northernmost and southernmost islands of Japan during the cherry blossom season. Guests will have the opportunity to experience Japan's cultural festivities during "Golden Week" and then venture to Alaska's Glacier Bay during the less-crowded early season, combining the best of both worlds on a 20-day "Pacific Passage: Golden Week to Glacier Bay" voyage.
In fall 2025, Seabourn Quest will return to Japan to highlight the country's iconic autumn landscapes. Between September and November, the ship will offer four sailings ranging from 12 to 41 days, visiting over 20 destinations across Japan's four main islands and lesser-known southern gems. Maiden calls for Seabourn Quest will include Akita, Ishinomaki, Niigata, and Wakayama, providing guests with unique insights into Japan's cultural and natural wonders.
To complement these voyages, Seabourn is introducing two new shore excursions in Japan. The "Very Best of Kobe" tour offers a full-day exploration of Kobe's highlights, including the UNESCO-listed Himeji Castle, a Kobe beef lunch, and a visit to a traditional sake brewery. The "Hiroshige Museum & Tea Ceremony" tour in Shimizu takes guests to the Tokaido Hiroshige Museum of Art, followed by a Japanese tea ceremony and a scenic walk through the Miho-no-Matsubara pine grove, with stunning views of Mount Fuji.
Select voyages will also feature renowned guest speakers as part of Seabourn's complimentary Seabourn Conversations enrichment program. Notable figures include Jim Laurie, an international writer and media consultant specializing in Asia destinations, and Ann Cleeves OBE, an award-winning author, who will join select sailings to provide deeper insights and enriching experiences for guests.
With its enhanced itineraries, new shore excursions, and engaging guest speakers, Seabourn's 2024-2025 Asia cruise season promises unparalleled luxury and discovery across some of the world's most captivating destinations.
