Cuba: Two Million Tourists in Less Than Half a Year

Cuba chalked up 2 million tourists on June 13 and it’s reached that milestone 27 days earlier than it did last year.

The all-around option Cuba has to offer as a travel destination, marked by heritage and cultural values, safety and security, hospitality, breathtaking nature and pristine beaches is the reason why tourists keep putting their smart money on Cuba.

Featuring an 11.9 percent annual growth rate, Cuba’s top outbound markets continue to be Canada, Germany, UK, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Mexico and Argentina.

In addition to raising the bar in terms of quality service and travel diversification, new hotel guestrooms are being built in major travel destinations like Havana, Varadero, Cayo Santa Maria, Jardines del Rey and Holguin.
