Peru Makes Top-Ten List of Adventure Travel Destinations in 2016

Adding another feather to its cap, Peru emerged as one of the top favorite in The People’s Choice Top 10 destinations for adventure tourism in 2016, Rough Guides revealed. The Inca nation, the only Latin American country included in the list, was ranked ninth.

The survey was conducted among the publication’s readers.

The travel book also highlights its history and suggests readers to pay a visit to the Museum of Túcume located in Northern Lambayeque region.

The guide mentions Peru as ‘the place to be in South America this year’ stressing ‘astounding Machu Picchu, the mysterious Nasca Lines and the exuberant capital, Lima, will always be popular.’
