Plus Ultra Adds Third A340 to Fleet as it Preps for Mexico, Chile Routes

Plus Ultra has just added a third A340 aircraft to its fleet as the management revs up plans to open routes to Mexico DF and Santiago de Chile now that the company was granted the rights to operate those flights from Madrid.

According to EFE news agency, the two new flights will be added to the ones to Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and Peru’s Lima, a couple of destinations Plus Ultra has been flying to since July this year.

Since then, Plus Ultra Airlines has flown 159,000 passengers in both scheduled and charter flights, according to statistics provided by the company.
