The U.S. and Cuba officially signed an aviation agreement Tuesday that paves the way for the first regularly scheduled flights between the countries in nearly five decades.

The United States and Cuba signed an agreement on Tuesday morning to resume commercial air traffic for the first time in five decades, with as many as 110 flights a day.
