
The modernization of European airspace took a major step forward today with the appointment of a unique aviation industry partnership to coordinate and synchronize 3 billion euros worth of upgrades to the continent's air traffic management infrastructure.

Barbados's beaches are now less than five hours away from Atlanta, thanks to a new nonstop flight by Delta Air Lines, but tourism officials aim to position the island as more than just a sunny getaway. Along with Atlanta, Delta is starting a nonstop flight from New York-JFK.

Aeromexico, Mexico's global airline, announces that starting on May 14th, 2015, it will be offering flights between Mexico City and Panama City, making Panama its 16th destination in Latin America. This new route will be serviced by Boeing 737-700 aircraft with seating capacity for 124 passengers.

JetBlue Airways launched twice-weekly flights to its latest Caribbean destination, Curacao. The airline now offers up to 121 daily flights from the U.S. to the Caribbean, of which up to 56 daily flights are nonstop from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport.
