Air France has nabbed a couple of quality awards for the excellence of its La Premiere VIP lounge at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, a distinction that underscores its position as the world’s finest facility of its kind.

Upcoming air service to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, includes Southwest Airlines' daily flights from Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas Love Field, Washington National and Chicago Midway, beginning Nov. 2. Beginning Dec. 20, United Airlines will offer year-round Saturday service from Houston.

Additionally to offering tickets at attractive prices to destinations within Germany and Europe, airberlin is offering tickets at bargain fares to more distant locations until 2nd September 2014.
