
Ryanair has announced a new Cardiff-Tenerife route, with takeoff set for October 30th 2014. It is hoped the route will deliver over 15,000 customers per annum at Cardiff Airport, with a weekly service.

EasyJet is adding two new features on easyJet.com. From June, the airline’s lowest fare finder tool will allow customers to see the lowest price fares quickly and easily within the month they wish to travel.

The aircraft can accommodate 158 passengers in a spacious dual-class configuration (20 seats in business with personal monitors for viewing media content, and 138 in economy). All B737 aircraft are delivered to Aeroflot directly from the manufacturer.

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA, the largest low-cost and low-fare airline in Latin America, announces it has started the sales of tickets in Brazil today, and in Chile it will start on May 18 2014, of the new international route between Sao Paulo and Santiago.

Mexico City-based VivaAerobus formally launched its fleet transition to A320 aircraft today, after the airline started operating its first three Airbus A320 aircraft in April. The low-cost carrier will receive an additional two A320s before the end of 2014.

While that’s down four percent from 2012’s total for baggage fees, it nonetheless represents more than a quarter of the airlines’ total profit in 2013 – which certainly explains why you’re paying for that second, third and fourth bag.
