Rutas Aereas de Venezuela (RAVSA), a private airline flying from the eastern Venezuelan city of Maturin, has added a new route from the South American oil giant to Piarco International Airport, the Southern Caribbean’s leading air hub.

InterCaribbean Airways is launching new service between Kingston and Montego Bay, Jamaica. The service will include 16 weekly flights each way, with the Montego Bay-Kingston flights offering onward flights to Providenciales, Santo Domingo and San Juan.

From Monday June 2nd, Iberia will increase the frequency of its flights from Madrid to Panama to six weekly flights, and from Sunday July 6th, there will be daily flights. Iberia’s seat capacity will increase to 2,000 seats a week, a 40 percent increase.

Starting in April, Aeromexico will add its fourth weekly flight to and from Tokyo, while in July it will add its third weekly flight to and from Shanghai, consolidating its position as the only Latin American airline to unite these cities with the capital of Mexico.

Two aircraft already feature the new design including a LAN Airbus A320, servicing domestic routes within Chile and a TAM Airbus A321, serving domestic routes within Brazil.
