Aeromexico, Mexico's global airline, announced the beginning of its new seasonal service between Fresno and Morelia and Sacramento and Bajio/Leon in central Mexico as of December 17th, 2013. Aeromexico offers direct flights from Fresno and Sacramento to Guadalajara, three and five weekly frequencies respectively.

With the addition of more flights to seven cities in the southern region of Brazil, TAM offers visiting international travellers more options with frequent connectivity. TAM has also decided to increase the frequency from two to three daily direct flights between Porto Alegre and Brasilia.

TAP Portugal has announced two new destinations in Brazil, Manaus and Belém, commencing in June 2014. These new services signal TAP’s first destinations in northern Brazil, widening its existing network which will now serve all regions from the UK, via Lisbon.

Describing traffic on Western Air’s recently introduced Havana route as a “mixed bag”, the airline’s director of operations yesterday told Tribune Business that advanced reservations indicate it will be “fully booked” by late December.
