Aeromexico has started to serve the Los Angeles–La Paz route with modern Embraer 190 aircraft, equipped with 99 passenger seats. With this route, the airline offers its first international connection from La Paz, in addition to the existing flights to Mexico City and Culiacan, with the latter continuing to Guadalajara.

Aeromexico, Mexico's global airline, announced that it will take delivery of its first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner in the first half of August of this year.
