Montserrat Airways Limited, a new airline charter service, officially began flight operations on May 30, 2009. With grant funding provided by the Tourism Challenge Fund, the carrier, operating under the name Fly Montserrat, is providing both visitors and residents with additional flight options to and from the island.

JetBlue Airways has announced an introductory fare sale for its three newest Caribbean destinations –Barbados; Kingston, Jamaica; and Saint Lucia. Nonstop flights from New York’s John F.
