Tourists Entering the Bahamas Have Quarantine Perks

All travelers entering the Bahamas are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine at their own expense, but visitors now can quarantine at a hotel, private club, rented accommodations such as Airbnb or on a private boat.

Previously, the mandatory quarantine would take place in a government facility. Those planning to quarantine on a boat are allowed to come ashore to provision, to visit a medical facility or a pharmacy or to secure fuel.

Persons in mandatory quarantine who want to leave the Bahamas before their 14-day quarantine period ends can do so at any time. They do not have to perform another Covid-19 test once they inform the Covid Enforcement Unit of their departure date.
