Azamara Cruises, the small-ship cruise line known for its Destination Immersion® experiences, has announced its 2026 summer sailings, featuring 77 new itineraries that promise to take guests to captivating destinations, iconic landmarks, and delightful ports of call. During the summer season, Azamara Journey®, Azamara Quest®, and Azamara Onward® will navigate the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, with an extended focus on Greece, Ireland, the British Isles, and more.

Among the highlights of the new itineraries are three special solar eclipse cruises scheduled for August 2026, offering guests the unique opportunity to witness this spectacular natural phenomenon from the sea. Michael Pawlus, Head of Itinerary Planning at Azamara Cruises, expressed excitement about the inclusion of these solar eclipse sailings, emphasizing the cruise line's commitment to delivering exceptional and memorable experiences for its guests.

In addition to the solar eclipse cruises, Azamara will introduce five maiden ports in Europe in 2026, which are only accessible to smaller ships. These new ports are Sarande in Albania, Fredericia in Denmark, Turku in Finland, Menton in France, and Karlskrona in Sweden. The 2026 itineraries will also feature new pre- and post-land programs, designed to offer guests deeper exploration opportunities. These programs will continue to provide more late nights and overnights than any other cruise line, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the culture and communities of these extraordinary destinations without feeling rushed.

Azamara’s new land programs include a 3-night immersive experience in the Icelandic Highlands, which allows guests to explore Iceland's renowned natural wonders, such as the Kerid Crater, Gullfoss Waterfall, and the Kerlingarfjöll Highlands. Another 3-night program, "Ancient Wonders of Egypt & Greece," takes travelers through the rich history and ancient civilizations of both countries, with stops at the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Cape Sounion to see the Temple of Poseidon. These unique programs are designed to provide deeper cultural experiences and authentic local engagement.

Azamara is also offering an Early Booking Bonus for its summer 2026 cruises. Guests who book before October 31, 2024, can receive a 20% discount on all summer 2026 cruises. Additionally, Azamara Pursuit® will be embarking on a new itinerary that will take guests to one of the world's top bucket-list destinations known for its natural beauty and diverse wildlife. More details on this itinerary will be announced in the coming weeks.
