Celebrity Cruises has just announced that three of its ships will resume sailing in the Galapagos later this summer, according to Travel Market Report.

Celebrity will return to the Galapagos first with Celebrity Flora, the brand’s state-of-the-art mega-yacht, on July 4, and then will follow with Celebrity Xpedition on July 24 and Celebrity Xploration on Sept. 18.

All sailings will move forward with vaccinated crew and adult guests. Those under the age of 18-years-old can sail with a negative PCR test. Each sailing will also have to abide by the local requirements for entry to Ecuador and the Galapagos.

While Flora will offer a mega-yacht experience on a ship built specifically to navigate the waters surrounding the Galapagos, all three ships will offer guests the opportunity to experience the Enchanted Islands.

Xpedition and Xploration will offer Northern and Southern Loop itineraries, and all three ships will offer twice-daily excursions guided by Galapagos National park certified naturalists.

To celebrate the relaunch, Celebrity is including airfare in the purchase of a Galapagos vacation package, which combines a 7-night sailing with land-based accommodations and activities that creates a 10 to 16-night vacation. The offer is good for sail dates through the end of 2023 and has to be booked by June 30, 2021.
