Antigua to Host Caribbean Travel Marketplace in May 2025

Antigua and Barbuda will host the 43rd Caribbean Travel Marketplace from May 19–21, 2025, marking a significant milestone for the twin-island nation. The event, organized by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), is expected to attract between 1,500 to 2,000 delegates, including tourism suppliers and wholesalers from around the world .
The main venue for the conference will be the American University of Antigua (AUA), providing an opportunity for face-to-face meetings and business development. CHTA President Sanovnik Destang highlighted that hosting the event in Antigua brings fresh energy to the conference, as the marketplace has primarily rotated among destinations like Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Cancun, and the Bahamas in the past.
