BIT Milan, the International Tourism Exchange, and Welcome Travel Group have inked an agreement to forge a strategic synergy in tourism.
This alliance underscores, once again, the magnetic appeal of the Bit Milano brand, which partners with Welcome Travel Group, the foremost national network of organized distribution encompassing 2500 affiliated travel agencies, through a substantial partnership for the upcoming 2024 edition of the event to be held in Milan.
Welcome Travel Group will coordinate the national Convention anticipated to draw over 1600 Travel Agents and the Network's commercial partners during the event days.
On one side of the partnership stands Welcome Travel Group, boasting ownership of the two leaders in the organized travel sector: Alpitour World and Costa Crociere, while on the other side, there's Bit organized by Fiera Milano, a leader in Italy and a major globally integrated operator in the exhibition and conference sector.
This proximity and the conception of forming a partnership, now realized, were nurtured during the last Bit edition, where Adriano Apicella, CEO of Welcome Travel Group, expressed that the 2023 edition reminded him of the tourism industry's best years.
Regarding the present situation, Apicella states: "Milan epitomizes the epicenter of business across all sectors, and tourism cannot be an exception to this centrality. In a country with a tourism-driven nature like ours, we believe that Bit is the most coveted platform for international buyers. It provides an ideal setting to convene our travel agents alongside all our commercial partners during our annual convention. While we'd prefer to maintain discretion about the extraordinary nature of this event for now, we can anticipate exceptional professional networking moments, coupled with celebratory evenings fostering strong relationships and entertainment. Bit will not merely serve as the setting but will also play a co-starring role and serve as an international megaphone for our 2024 Convention."

"The signing of the agreement solidifies Bit Milano as the paramount relational platform in the world of tourism," echoes Simona Greco, events director of Fiera Milano, "while also positioning it as a hub for sharing knowledge, hosting a series of conferences with the participation of universities, institutions, and internationally acclaimed experts."
Bit will continue its established formula in the upcoming edition, offering a dedicated experience for travelers and operators, once again presenting a comprehensive overview of destinations and trends in the sector. The event's concept has evolved over the years in response to market demands while keeping the end-user in mind.
The agreement with Welcome Travel Group will be an additional cornerstone of the International Tourism Exchange scheduled at Allianz Mico (Milan) from February 4th to 6th, 2024.
