Caribbean Week, hosted by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), is gearing up to illuminate New York City from June 16th to 21st, 2024. Set against the iconic backdrop of InterContinental New York Times Square in bustling midtown Manhattan, this event promises to captivate travel industry professionals and enthusiasts alike.

Rosa Harris, Chairman of the CTO Board of Directors and spokesperson for the Week, expresses delight in returning to "The Big Apple" to engage in meaningful discussions about the business of tourism and celebrate the rich culture and heritage of the Caribbean.

Highlighting the importance of connecting with the New York tri-state area and the vibrant Caribbean diaspora, Harris emphasizes the significance of coming together during Caribbean-American Heritage Month to showcase the region's strengths.

Under the theme of CTO's 35th anniversary, "Connecting the Globe, Celebrating Diversity," Caribbean Week 2024 promises an exciting lineup of events and business meetings. From the Business and Tourism Marketing Symposium to the Caribbean Media Awards and Media Marketplace, the week will be brimming with opportunities for networking and collaboration.

Embracing innovation, sessions dedicated to artificial intelligence will underscore the organization's forward-thinking approach, while discussions on service excellence, airlift strategies, multicultural marketing, and destination management will shape the future of Caribbean tourism.

Inclusivity and leadership will take center stage with events focused on women's empowerment, alongside celebrations of Caribbean culture with a Cricket Ceremony and Watch Party.

With the support of headline sponsor the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, gold sponsor the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, and the Caribbean Media Exchange, Caribbean Week in New York promises an enriching and unforgettable experience for all involved.
