CTO to Shine a Spotlight on the Caribbean at WTM Latin America 2025

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) is gearing up for a remarkable presence at WTM Latin America 2025, set to take place in São Paulo, Brazil, from April 14-16, 2025. In a major milestone, CTO will introduce a dedicated Caribbean Pavilion, uniting the region’s tourism leaders under one banner to promote the Caribbean’s rich and diverse travel experiences. Situated at Booth M90, the pavilion will feature representatives from Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, Dominica, Guyana, Saint-Martin, and Turks & Caicos, offering a prime networking space to engage with key players in the Latin American market.
With Latin America emerging as a growing source market, CTO’s participation underscores its commitment to forging stronger partnerships, boosting visitor arrivals, and showcasing the unique attractions of its member destinations. The Caribbean Pavilion will facilitate pre-scheduled trade meetings and offer multilingual services to enhance engagement. Through targeted networking and promotional activities, each destination will connect with tour operators, travel agents, and media professionals, reinforcing their presence in this expanding market.
“CTO is thrilled to take part in WTM Latin America to strengthen ties with our partners in this flourishing market,” said Dona Regis-Prosper, Secretary General & CEO of CTO. “With increased air connectivity and a growing appetite for the Caribbean among Latin American travelers, this event serves as a pivotal platform for our member countries to highlight their distinct attractions, investment opportunities, and latest tourism developments.”
A crucial role in this initiative has been played by EM Marketing & Communication, leveraging its expertise in destination marketing and industry networking to maximize CTO’s engagement in Latin America. Thanks to this collaboration, the Caribbean Pavilion will act as a hub for forging new business relationships and expanding the region’s tourism footprint.
“We are proud to support CTO at WTM Latin America. This pavilion not only showcases the diverse tourism appeal of the Caribbean but also represents a collective effort to cultivate impactful partnerships that drive sustainable tourism growth. As Latin America becomes an increasingly vital market, we see immense potential for collaboration that benefits both regions,” said Elsa Petersen, Founder & CEO of EM Marketing & Communication.
Beyond its promotional efforts, CTO’s participation will emphasize its commitment to sustainable tourism development, spotlighting regional initiatives that advocate for responsible travel, environmental conservation, and cultural preservation. Delegates from participating destinations will also take part in B2B discussions, exploring new possibilities in travel trade partnerships, airline collaborations, and market expansion strategies.
As one of Latin America’s premier travel trade events, WTM Latin America attracts thousands of industry professionals from across the region and beyond. CTO will also leverage the event for media engagements, further positioning the Caribbean as a top-tier destination for Latin American travelers in search of sun, sea, culture, and adventure.
