Cunard to Sponsor the 24th Annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival
Luxury cruise line Cunard has announced its participation as a platinum sponsor at the 24th annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF), taking place in Miami, Florida, from February 20-23, 2025. The event will feature Cunard's culinary excellence, including exclusive offerings at the Goya Foods' Grand Tasting Village and the American Airlines® North Venue. Cunard will also serve as the presenting sponsor of the Festival’s iconic Sunday Brunch, hosted at Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
Cunard’s involvement coincides with a historic milestone: the cruise line’s Queen Elizabeth will homeport in Miami for the first time, offering a full season of Caribbean voyages from October 2025 to April 2026. Guests can explore destinations like Montego Bay, San Juan, Bridgetown, and St. John’s on these roundtrip itineraries.
At the Festival, Cunard will showcase its Wellness Program at Sea with a curated wellness dish and cocktail inspired by its onboard Pavilion wellness café. Attendees visiting Cunard’s experience at the Goya Foods' Grand Tasting Village can sample this offering and enter to win a Caribbean voyage aboard Queen Elizabeth. Additionally, the North Venue will highlight Cunard’s renowned culinary expertise through a selection of signature dishes.
Sunday Brunch, one of the Festival’s hallmark events, will feature Katie Lee, Jeff Mauro, and Geoffrey Zakarian from The Kitchen. The event is part of The New York Times series and offers guests a chance to savor Cunard-inspired dishes alongside top-tier culinary talent.
Cunard President Katie McAlister expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting the opportunity to introduce Cunard's signature experiences to Miami’s vibrant food scene. Festival Founder Lee Brian Schrager praised SOBEWFF® for its evolution into a global culinary event that supports the next generation of hospitality leaders while celebrating Miami’s unique culinary culture.
