Chicago is getting set to welcome visitors from around the world for IPW 2025. Authorities from both the city and the state of Illinois launched the official presentation at the closing day of IPW 2024 in Los Angeles, California.

According to Kenya Merritt, Deputy Mayor for Business, Economic and Neighborhood Development, Chicago, a city that warmly embraces diversity and inclusivity, beckons with open arms to over 50 million visitors every year. Regardless of race, religion, gender, or orientation, everyone can find their place in the vibrant mosaic of cultures that define this metropolis. 

“It's this inclusive spirit that sets Chicago apart, making it feel like home to all who step foot in its neighborhoods,” she added.

Spread across 77 unique neighborhoods, Chicago offers a diverse tapestry of experiences waiting to be explored. From the iconic Michigan Avenue to the tranquil shores of the Chicago River, the city's environment plays a crucial role in shaping its character. But it's the Midwestern hospitality, ingrained in the spirit of Chicagoans, that truly makes the city come alive.
