Anticipating nearly 4,000 buyers this week, pre-event metrics indicate a significant increase over 2023, aligning with the optimism reflected in the latest MPI Outlook survey, where 76% of respondents foresee favorable conditions in the coming year.

This year's IMEX boasts a diverse international presence. European suppliers lead the show floor, closely followed by increased participation from Asia, including Japan presenting its largest delegation ever. Notably, Africa, led by Rwanda celebrating a decade of substantial growth in its business events sector, marks a significant presence. North America has expanded its footprint, with notable increases from Canadian and U.S. exhibitors, alongside the debut of the Brand USA pavilion.

Major hotel groups showcase their portfolios, with newcomers Sonder and Langham joining industry giants like Accor, Hilton, and Marriott. IHG notably doubles its presence in Germany, underlining the sector's vitality and readiness to cater to an international audience.

With 40% of planners expecting larger attendee numbers, over 50,000 one-to-one meetings have been scheduled, reflecting high engagement and networking potential. The majority of buyers hail from Europe, North America, and Asia, with strong representation from the agency sector.

IMEX Frankfurt 2024 offers a comprehensive learning program, with over 200 sessions balancing essential industry knowledge with personal development topics, ensuring attendees gain both hard skills and personal insights.
