Mexico's Tourism Secretary Lands in Cuba with Loaded Agenda

Mexico's Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, on Monday, May 2. Secretary Torruco is in Cuba to attend the 40th edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITCuba 2022), which began this Tuesday in Varadero Beach.

"Pleasant meeting with my good friend @MMarreroCruz, Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, whom I had the opportunity to meet when he served as Minister of Tourism. I will take advantage of this working tour to meet with tour operators from several countries interested in Mexico," Torruco Marqués wrote on his Twitter account.

In the morning hours, Mexico's Secretary of Tourism participated in the Sustainable Tourism event that served as a prelude to the inauguration of FITCuba 2022, where he gave a talk on Mexico's tourism policy as a tool for social reconciliation.

At the "Sustainable Tourism Event. For a tourism for all generations", within the framework of Cuba's main tourism fair,
was attended by specialists and experts on the subject, as well as ministers of tourism, businessmen and tour operators attending FITCuba.
