New Strategic Partner for BIT: Thermalia by Federterme for the First Time at the Fair

A three-year agreement has been established between Bit and Federterme-Confindustria. Thermalia, the only event in Italy that brings together spas and wellness within Bit.
BIT 2024 will host Federterme-Confindustria as an exhibitor for the first time this year. There are over 320 active spa centers in Italy, with 90% enrolled in the National Health Service. This unique heritage combines the healing properties of mineral waters with the tourist offerings of the territories, including natural resources, history, art, culture, food, and wine.
Starting from this thousand-year-old infrastructure spread throughout the peninsula, Federterme (the association of SPAs) has chosen BIT Milano, the International Tourism Exchange, to present the most qualified companies, the future of this sector, and new projects revolving around the world of wellness and well-being as pillars of the Italian tourism offer.
Starting with the upcoming edition of BIT at Allianz Mico from February 4 to 6, 2024, Thermalia by Federterme will be present as a focal point within the event. It will feature the participation of more than 30 exhibitors from the SPA and wellness world, representing an opportunity to discuss the future prospects of wellness tourism.

"Thermal and wellness tourism is becoming one of the cornerstones of the national tourism industry," states Massimo Caputi, President of Federterme-Confindustria. "Due to the spa system, which marks the record in Europe and a turnover in 2023 - including related activities - of 1.6 billion, it is functional to incoming from abroad and constitutes a crucial asset for deseasonalization. BIT is a real unique marketplace, and we chose it for the possibility it offers us to create an innovative participation format to give life to moments of comparison between the realities of the sector, but also with complementary ones and with all the stakeholders, through talks, appointments that materialize the precious ability to create a system of Thermalia by Federterme, aimed at marking a new horizon."
Through the agreement with Federterme-Confindustria, Bit confirms itself as a reference platform for all companies operating in the world of tourism, understood as a sector with high added value capable of revamping the territorial specificities of Italy.
The appointment with Bit Milano and Thermalia by Federterme is from February 4 to 6, 2024, at Allianz MiCo. To learn more: BIT Milano and Thermalia.
