The Mexican Caribbean Music Festival (MCMF) is set to make history on May 17, 2025, establishing itself as a must-attend event for music lovers and travelers alike. Following in the footsteps of the region’s renowned jazz festivals—held for over two decades—the MCMF aims to redefine the entertainment landscape of the Mexican Caribbean.

Held at the spectacular ZAMNA venue in Tulum, the festival promises an unparalleled experience in one of Mexico’s most breathtaking destinations. Featuring a revitalized musical lineup and an impressive roster of international artists, the MCMF is poised to become a key player in global music tourism.

Leading the inaugural edition is Sting, the legendary 17-time Grammy Award winner, who will bring his electrifying STING 3.0 Tour to Mexico. Accompanied by guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas (Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers), Sting will deliver a setlist packed with his most iconic hits and rare tracks from his timeless discography.

"This event marks a new era for the Mexican Caribbean. Beyond world-class music, we aim to boost tourism, enhance hotel occupancy, and position the Riviera Maya as a cultural and travel hotspot for both domestic and international visitors," said Andrés Martínez, General Director of the Mexican Caribbean Tourism Council.

With its diverse lineup and unbeatable location, the MCMF is poised to drive hotel occupancy and attract music fans from around the world. As the festival unfolds against the backdrop of the Mexican Caribbean’s stunning beaches and vibrant entertainment scene, it will serve as both a celebration of music and an invitation to explore the region’s rich cultural and natural beauty.

With its debut edition, the Mexican Caribbean Music Festival is on track to become a global landmark event, reaffirming the region’s status as a premier destination for music tourism.
