Three Pillars of Evaluation
The shortlisted entries are being assessed on:
-
Innovation: Incorporating breakthroughs in tech, immersive travel, cultural integration, and cross-sector collaborations.
-
Sustainability: Measured environmental responsibility, local employment, and positive community impact.
-
Scalability: The potential for these initiatives to be replicated in other destinations around the world.
Evaluation involves Trip.com user data, public voting (held from May 26 to June 30), and review by a panel of international tourism experts from organizations such as the European Travel Commission, Global Sustainable Tourism Council, and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
The awards were first introduced at Trip.com Group’s Envision 2025 Global Partner Conference and are designed to catalyze creativity and meaningful transformation across the tourism industry worldwide.
