Notably, 41% of Italian hotels already use artificial intelligence for guest services, from booking automation to smart property management.

Tourism as an Economic Driver
In her opening remarks, Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè emphasized the sector’s strategic importance, citing its contribution of 13% to Italy’s GDP. According to Demoskopika, Italy is expected to welcome 146 million visitors in 2025, with tourism spending projected at €185 billion—including €60 billion from foreign tourists.
Spending is also growing in food and wine tourism, now generating over €11 billion in added value, making local culinary experiences a core component of destination appeal.
A National and Regional Platform
TTG continues to serve as a showcase for Italy’s regions, many of which presented new strategies and integrated offerings combining nature, culture, and sustainability. The event reaffirmed its role as a platform for dialogue between institutions and private operators.

InOut: Wellness and Design in Hospitality
Held alongside TTG, InOut | The Hospitality Community strengthened its focus on hotels, outdoor tourism, and beach facilities, highlighting the integration of well-being, service innovation, and design. The Poolwide area spotlighted the rise of wellness tourism, blending healthy living, open-air experiences, and relaxation-centered environments.
