World Travel Expo Miami (WTE), a Not-to-Miss Travel, Tourism International Event in the US
The event will take place at the Miami Airport Convention Center from June 13th to June 15th, 2023
The WTE Miami 2023 will be a forum for fruitful dialogue and collaboration between industry stakeholders to promote international tourism and travel.
It will also showcase the power of both industries as driving forces for economic growth
From June 13th to June 15th, 2023, the World Travel Expo Miami (WTE Miami) will become a not-to-miss tourism event in the United States, where tourism bureaus, airlines and airports, travel agencies and tour operators, hotels and travel professionals, among others, meet to cherish and grow their business network, as well as to showcase the power of travel and tourism as a driving force for economic growth and cultural understanding. It will also be a forum to discuss about opportunities and challenges faced by the industry, as well as current and future travel trends.
The WTE Miami 2023 is hosted by the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, and in collaboration with Miami-Dade County’s International Trade Consortium (ITC), the World Trade Center in Miami, and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Additionally, American Airlines will be the event’s Global sponsor, while the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the International Association of Travel Agents Network (IATAN) will be its Global Partners. The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau is the Platinum sponsor of the event. In 2021, Miami welcomed 24.2 million visitors in 2021, 5.1 million of them were international travellers.
Miami International Airport is among the busiest in the world with more than 95 airlines to 160 destinations. It has also become the main U.S. gateway to Latin American and the Caribbean. With more than 37 million passengers a year, Miami International Airport is one of the largest airline hubs in the United States.
WTE Miami will raise the region’s profile in the travel & tourism sector, as it aims to promote the industry, as well as offering attendees, exhibitors and participants the opportunity to strengthen their connections and network with each other. It will provide a forum for fruitful dialogue and collaboration between industry stakeholders.
More than 2,000 global travel professionals will be attending and presenting their companies in the WTE Miami. The event will last three days and will feature, along with the exhibition, one-on-one meetings, networking events and panels where international industry and other opinion leaders will discuss about the future of travel & tourism.
