Ocean City, MD – Leading outdoor hospitality company Blue Water has officially rebranded two of its flagship resort destinations: Chincoteague Bay RV Resort & Cottages in Virginia and Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages in Florida. Previously operating under the Sun Outdoors banner, the resorts are now moving forward with independent branding, ownership, and management led by Blue Water.
The strategic transition supports Blue Water’s mission to deliver authentic travel experiences rooted in local culture, outdoor recreation, and premium guest service. With the shift, both properties adopt new names and refreshed brand identities, while staying under the guidance of Blue Water’s trusted operational model.

In the Florida Keys, Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages provides a tropical escape just 15 minutes from Key West. Nestled on a seven-acre saltwater lake, the resort features a heated pool, tiki bar, fire pit lounge, and offers kayak and paddleboard rentals. Guests can choose between RV sites or comfortable vacation cottages that blend relaxed luxury with nature.
The rebranding became official on April 1 for Chincoteague Bay and April 15 for Sugarloaf Key, reflecting Blue Water’s commitment to evolving the outdoor travel experience.
