Acciona Trasmediterranea Celebrating 90th Birthday in FITUR with Larger Booth
Acciona Trasmediterranea has come to FITUR 2007 with a purpose in mind: to celebrate its 90th anniversary with class and style, and that includes a much bigger stand than the year before in an effort to “catch the company’s businesslike and innovative spirit,” the group said in a press release.
The lovely booth features a manmade waterfall in the a backdrop wall in which the company is displaying some of its flagship vessels it has created since 1917 to date, from the steamboats to high-tech ships of today.
The Spanish maritime company has been for years committed to sustainable development, a reason why some of its latest creations are rigged up with low-emission, cost-cutting engines that use environment-friendly fuel.
The vessels that Acciona is building right now are outfitted with ecological refrigerants, low-cost lighting fixtures, low acoustic emissions, as well as ecological paints and latches.
