Avianca Launches New Flights to Colombia from Los Angeles

Avianca will inaugurate its nonstop flights between Bogota, Colombia, and Los Angeles on July 1. The flight will arrive to Los Angeles International Airport and will operate four times a week served by modern Airbus A330 and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.
It will also allow travelers to connect in a faster and more efficient way to more than 20 destinations in the U.S., as well as different cities in Canada, Japan, China, Taiwan and Australia.
In addition to Los Angeles flights, the carrier currently offers nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale, Miami, New York, Orlando and Washington D.C from its hubs in Bogota and allows travelers to connect to Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and Washington D.C through San Salvador.
“The launch of these new frequencies is a result of the desire of Avianca to expand its services to the second most populated metropolis in the United States for travelers from South America that wish to get to key places in the West Coast of this country,” said Fabio Villegas Ramírez, Avianca’s CEO, in a written release.
