Azamara Club Cruises’ Journey Completes Renovation in Singapore
Azamara Club Cruises’ 694-guest Azamara Journey has completed a renovation during an eight-day dry-dock in Singapore’s Sembawang Shipyard. The ship’s public spaces and staterooms were refreshed while the hull was painted blue. The Journey is continuing its Asia season with a 13-night Indonesia voyage roundtrip from Singapore.
Ship-wide renovations included new carpets, upholstery and a new color palette in public spaces. Suites and staterooms got new mattresses and upgraded veranda furniture, while the outside deck got new sun lounges and towels; the pool was resurfaced. The casino bar was expanded and got new furniture, while the spa and fitness center received a new steam room, showers, and Life Fitness cardio equipment.
Aqualina, one of the ships’ two specialty dining venues, has a new caviar and champagne bar as a Chef’s Table concept with three wine degustation menus -- Italian, French and Californian.
Azamara cruises include gratuities for housekeeping, dining and bar staff; complimentary bottled water, sodas, specialty coffee, teas, and red and white boutique wines with lunch and dinner; self-service laundry; butler service for suite guests; and shuttle transportation to city centers in ports, where available.
Azamara features longer stays and more overnights in port as well as the complimentary AzAmazing Evening event on every voyage starting with each ship’s Europe 2013 season.
