Azamara Quest Exits Drydock with Refreshed Spaces, Blue Hull
Azamara Club Cruises’ Azamara Quest completed an eight-day drydock with refreshed public spaces and staterooms and a new blue hull. Shipwide renovations included new carpets, upholstery, and a new color palette in public spaces. Suites and staterooms got new mattresses and upgraded veranda furniture.
The pool was resurfaced, and new sun loungers and pool towels were added on the outer decks. The Casino Bar was expanded and got new furniture, while the spa and fitness center received a new steam room, showers, and Life Fitness cardio equipment.
A new caviar and champagne bar was created within Aqualina, one of the ship’s two specialty dining venues, as well as a new Chef’s Table concept featuring three wine degustation menus -- Italian, French and Californian.
Upon departing from Navantia Shipyard in Cadiz, Spain, Azamara Quest departed on a 13-night Madeira and Canary Islands voyage, which will be followed by a four-night Spanish and Northern Africa voyage on Nov. 28. On Dec. 2, the ship departs on a 16-night trans-Atlantic voyage to Rio de Janeiro for its South America season.
