British Cruise Company Rebrands as All Discovery Cruising
All Leisure Group PLC, a British-owned cruise company that operates Voyages of Discovery, Swan Hellenic and Hebridean Island Cruises, is rebranding under the name All Discovery Cruising name.
The company also appointed a new North American executive team: Steve Novello (pictured) has been named president and Bill Dwyer has been named vice president of sales and marketing. The two are based in the company’s Fort Lauderdale office. Mark Flager, formerly vice president of sales, marketing and passenger services, has left the company.
Novello brings more than 15 years of cruise and travel industry experience to All Discovery Cruising. His background includes financial, operational and sales experience with cruise lines Oceania and Renaissance Cruises.
He also worked in sales and marketing at Online Vacation Center and SeaVision/Allin, a company that specializes in interactive television for the cruise industry. In addition to growing market share through travel agency channels in Canada and North America, Novello will expand sales to Mexico, South America and the Caribbean by establishing General Sales Agent relationships.
Dwyer previously was director of field sales for the North American office of Costa Cruises. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales for Paul Gauguin Shipping Limited. In addition, he spent eight years with SuperClubs where he was vice president of sales and marketing for wholesale, groups and incentives. Dwyer began his career at Budget Rent-A-Car, where he was director of travel industry sales.
Voyages of Discovery operates the 650-passenger Discovery and Swan Hellenic cruises to off-the-beaten-path destinations aboard the 320-passenger Minerva. Hebridean Island Cruises operates the 49-passenger Hebridean Princess in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland as well as Northern Ireland.
