Capella Marigot Bay Resort and Marina in St. Lucia will close at the end of April for a two-month renovation.

Design firm OBM International will renovate the 122 guestrooms and suites, add a rooftop restaurant and the Rum Cave, which will serve a variety of local rums in a "warm, relaxed cave-like space" featuring natural stone, wood, rum barrels and copper.

The Hurricane Hole Bar will be relocated to the resort's dock area.

Plans also call for an Auriga outdoor spa that will feature treatment rooms in treehouses as well as the addition of a new fitness center and an infinity pool and swim-up raw bar on the highest level of the tri-level resort.

New shops, bars and a restaurant will be added in the marina area.
