Caribbean Airlines confirms that its international flights scheduled for departure from Kingston and Montego Bay today, have been affected by many of its Jamaica-based pilots who have signed up to operate these flights, and fell ill.

Caribbean Airlines immediately commenced its procedure to contact customers travelling on affected flights.

The airline assures its valued customers that all efforts are being made to minimize disruptions to affected travelers.

CEO Michael DiLollo stated, “We apologies to our valued customers who have been affected by these disruptions. We are naturally concerned for the health and welfare of our pilot body, however, this unfortunate situation has disrupted our scheduled services at a critical point in the summer peak, during which we count most on our operational crews to ensure safe reliable air service for our customers.”
