Caribbean Properties Offering Love and Happiness
Just in time for the depths of winter across North America, several Caribbean resort properties are offering travel packages for romantic couples and anyone in search of sunny beaches and blue skies.
Tobago’s Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort is offering a “Tobago Love” package featuring a two-night stay in an oceanfront suite and amenities including champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries upon arrival and return airport transfer via a limo with champagne for rates starting at $699 per couple. The package also features a tour of Argyle Waterfalls. The first major beachfront property to open in Tobago in 12 years, Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort is located on the 750-acre Tobago Plantations Estate.
All-inclusive operator Sandals is offering winter travel incentives at the Sandals Grande Riviera Beach & Villa Golf Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Guests who book stays of five nights or more in any room category through March 12, 2014 for travel throughout the year will receive bonus savings ranging from $125 to $250, depending on reservation date. The Grande Riviera features the Ochi Beach Club, dining and beverage options including 15 restaurants and nine bars, plus complimentary golf at Sandals Golf & Country Club.
The “Valentine’s Day” package at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands offers one free night to travelers who book five nights, including Valentine’s Day. Couples will also receive romantic extras including a complimentary sunset sail along Charlotte Amalie Harbor aboard Bolongo’s 53-foot catamaran Heavenly Days, a three-course dinner with wine at the resort’s Lobster Grille, which overlooks the Caribbean Sea, and a bottle of champagne with rose petals upon arrival.
Bermuda’s Fairmont Hamilton Princess is offering a “Fairmont Gold Getaway” package featuring three nights’ accommodations, continental breakfast, afternoon tea, evening hors d’oeuvres, and roundtrip airport transfers. Package rates start at $999. Package rates do not include accommodations.
The Turks & Caicos’ Sands at Grace Bay is offering two romance packages in 2014. The “Fall in Love Again” package is priced at $650 per couple and features a chilled bottle of sparkling wine in room upon arrival; a 70-minute Swedish massage for two and a sunset beach cruise.
The “Lasting Love Romance” package offers sparkling wine, flowers and strawberries in room upon arrival; his and her’s spa treatments for two including a 70-minute Swedish massage and a full scalp massage plus a sunset beach cruise and roundtrip airport transfers.
