Carnival Cruise Lines in 2015 will add three more Caribbean cruises of 10 to 12 days that depart from either Galveston or San Juan. In addition, Carnival will offer its first series of short cruises on Carnival Magic from Galveston next year. Carnival has been trying to vary its itineraries to give more options to repeat cruisers.

The newly announced long cruises will include an 11-day southern Caribbean voyage from Galveston to San Juan from Feb. 9-20, calling at Grand Cayman, Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada, Dominica and St. Maarten.

There will also be a 10-day eastern Caribbean voyage from San Juan to Galveston from Feb. 20-March 2, with visits to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Kitts, St. Croix and Falmouth (Jamaica).

The third trip is a 12-day roundtrip from Galveston from March 2-14, featuring Grand Cayman, Limon (Costa Rica), Colon (Panama), and Cartagena and Santa Marta (Colombia). The call at Santa Marta will mark Carnival’s first-ever visit there.

The three new voyages complement Carnival Triumph’s previously announced series of 10- and 11-day cruises from Galveston and San Juan, including a pair of 11-day cruises departing Galveston Oct. 24, 2015, and Jan. 16, 2016, along with two 10-day cruises from San Juan on Nov. 4, 2015, and Jan. 27, 2016.
