Carnival Launches Cruise Check-In at Miami Airport
Carnival Cruise Lines is opening check-in counters at Miami International Airport, so passengers can get their Sail & Sign and boarding cards before arriving at the port. The Carnival counters are open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Concourses D and H on the day of sailing.
Cruise passengers retrieve their luggage at baggage claim and are directed to their corresponding check-in counter, based on flight arrivals. They check in and receive a boarding card that reads “Airport Express” so they can be identified when they arrive at the cruise terminal.
Guests also will receive a Sail & Sign card at the airport. If they want to use cash for their Sail & Sign deposit, they must stop by a cruise terminal check-in counters or use an onboard Sail & Sign kiosk.
If your clients did not pre-purchase Carnival’s transportation, they have the option to buy transfers to the pier during the check-in process. Your clients must take their luggage with them whether using our transportation service or other means.
When arriving at the pier, those who already checked in will be directed to the Airport Express security lane for a photo ID check and Sail & Sign check.
Carnival also recently started testing a new for-fee early embarkation program on Carnival Imagination and Carnival Liberty. The “Faster to the Fun” option includes early embarkation, early stateroom availability, express luggage delivery to staterooms, priority dinner seating and tender availability, and choice of early or late debarkation. The cost is $49.95 per stateroom, regardless of number of occupants.
