Carnival Magic Makes Inaugural Call at Puerto Costa Maya

Carnival Cruise Lines’ new Carnival Magic made its first call at Puerto Costa Maya in Mexico on Dec. 21. The call was originally scheduled for Nov. 17, but was postponed when the ship required some work in dry dock.

A group of port executives greeted the ship and Capt. Stefano Battinelli, including Cesar Lizarraga Gonzalez, vice president-port operations, and Munir Tager, vice president of operations. The port thanked Gordon Buck, Carnival’s vice president for Caribbean relations, for making the event a success.
