CHIEF Comes to a Close in Puerto Rico
Some of the Caribbean’s top tourism leaders gathered at Puerto Rico’s El Conquistador Resort over the weekend for the Caribbean Hospitality Industry Exchange Forum, or CHIEF.
The three-day event included hoteliers, general managers, marketing directors, engineers, sales directors, entrepreneurs, executives, government officials and others. It included a trade show and a series of panels and speeches.
Some of those who spoke this weekend included TripAdvisor head of industry relations Brian Payea, AMResorts President Gonzalo del Peon and Nicola Madden-Greg, president of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association, among others.
Some of the sessions included “Cuba: Opportunity or Threat?” and “Future of Travel Distribution: Are you Tuning into the Right Channels?” CHIEF is produced by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association.
