CLIA Expands with National Cruise Organization for Spain

Cruise Lines International Association has created a new cruise organization in Spain. CLIA Spain will be headquartered in Madrid and chaired by Belen Wangüemert, the general manager in Spain and France for Royal Caribbean International, Azamara Club Cruises and Celebrity Cruises.

Alfredo Serrano, CLIA Spain’s new national director, will manage the new group. This follows CLIA’s expansion in other parts of Europe this year. CLIA Spain joins CLIA Germany, CLIA UK & Ireland, CLIA France, CLIA Netherlands, and CLIA Belgium & Luxembourg as the 13th association operating under CLIA’s global umbrella.
