Compagnie du Ponant Offers Variety of South America Sailings
Compagnie du Ponant, the luxury French-flagged cruise line, is offering 10 cruises in South America this winter. For example, the 14-night “Recife, Brazil, to Cayenne, French Guyana” voyage explores the Amazon River and departs on March 23; fares start at $5,368 per person.
The 14-night “Montevideo, Uruguay, to Recife, Brazil” itinerary explores Ilhabela, Paraty, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador. Departing March 9, this cruise is priced from $5,810 per person.
A 46-night voyage from Ushuaia, Argentina, to Fort de France, Martinique, sails around Cape Horn to Chile’s port city of Valparaiso before heading to Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Costa Rica.
After crossing the Panama Canal, the ship sails to Colombia, Curacao, Venezuela, Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia and Martinique. The cruise departs March 2 and is priced from $19,600 per person.
