Crystal Offers Two Overland Options in South America

Crystal Cruises is offering two overland excursions during the Crystal Symphony’s Feb. 7 South America voyage. The four-night jaunt to Pantanal -- a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest wetlands -- offers horseback-riding, canoeing, hiking and even piranha fishing. The one-night escape to the Pousada Vila D’este resort in Buzios allows guests to lounge on beaches along protected waters.

The “Wetlands of Pantanal” departs from Buenos Aires to Rio and continues inland. The fare is $3,298. Departing from Rio de Janeiro, the “Beautiful Buzios Relaxing Resort Escape” is $1,221.

The 16-day voyage begins with overnight stays in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro before calling at Devil’s Island, Barbados, Turks & Caicos and disembarking in Miami. Promotional two-for-one cruise fares start at $5,220 and include complimentary air transportation and $1,000 per person shipboard credits. Fares quoted for the cruise and overland programs are based on per person, double occupancy accommodations.
