Crystal Opens Bookings on Early 2013 Cruises
Crystal Cruises has opened the books on cruises in early 2013 with two-for-one fares and free air. Among the new selections is a 74-day, 14-country World Cruise circling South America. Another 19 voyages covering most of the first half of 2013 are now open for booking and detailed at www.crystalcruises.com.
The “Book Now Savings” plus two-for-one fares are free air are available on bookings made by Feb. 28. Guests can save up to $4,000 for the full World Cruise and $700 or $1,000 for seven- to 24-day sailings. Those who book the 2013 World Cruise or its segments can save 20 percent off the 2014 World Cruise.
Each seven- to 24-day cruise includes free roundtrip air transportation with airport/ship transfers (or air credit), all-inclusive amenities such as complimentary gratuities, fine wines and spirits, specialty restaurants, Open Dining by Reservation, and onboard entertainment and enrichment. Two-for-one fares begin at $3,105 per person, inclusive of “Book Now Savings.”
With “Book Now Savings,” two-for-one fares for the full World Cruise/Grand South America Exploration start at $27,470 per person. World Cruise perks are included, such as first-class air transportation, airport/hotel/ship transfers, a pre-cruise gala with hotel accommodations in Miami, two exclusive shore-side events, and a memento gift program.
Throughout, all guests will be treated to extra onboard entertainment and complimentary progressive (beginning, intermediate, and advanced) enrichment education. New-to-Crystal guests can also save from $680 to $3,380 per person, depending on category accommodations.
“In the first quarter of 2013, we’re deploying our ships quite differently than in the recent past in that each will offer exotic, in-depth deployments, but in different parts of the world -- Australia/New Zealand/Asia for Crystal Symphony and a South American-concentrated World Cruise for Crystal Serenity,” said President Gregg Michel.
Before heading to the Iberian Peninsula for April, Crystal Serenity will kick off the year in the Caribbean and then operate the four-segment World Cruise roundtrip from Miami. Highlights include multiple stops in Ecuador, Peru and Chile; two weeks sailing through Patagonia; four days of cruising the Chilean fjords; and the Amazon River. Maiden calls will be made in Laguna San Rafael, Manta, Salaverry, Chacabuco and Cape Horn. Overnights are scheduled in Cartagena, Valparaíso, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and Callao, the latter allowing for time in Machu Picchu.
Crystal Symphony will begin 2013 with an all-Australia cruise, followed by cruises through the Pacific and Asia before heading back to the U.S. via Russia, Alaska, and Canada. Highlights include new cruises beginning and ending in Brisbane and Bali, and a complimentary three-day Beijing land package for the March 23 and March 31 voyages. Overnights are scheduled in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart, Auckland, Tauranga, Hong Kong, Bali, Laem Chebang/Bangkok and Singapore. Double overnights are planned in Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City and Kobe. Should guests choose, they can sail all the way from Auckland to New York, with Shanghai and Dalian as the only repeat-visit calls.
