Cuba Attends World Tourism Fair in France

With the purpose of promoting the island's diversity of products, Cuba participates in the World Tourism Hall under way in Paris, the French capital, until Sunday.

Also promoted at the Fair are 500 year-old cities, the International Tourism Fair FIT-CUBA 2014 –dedicated to France- and the reopening of the Havana-Martinique flights of Cubana Airlines, informed the Cuban Foreign Ministry's Web site.

Likewise, the occasion serves to strengthen bonds with the main partners and collaborators in the French market, one of the countries sending the largest amount of tourists to Cuba.

The Cuban delegation is composed of representatives of the Cuban Tourism Office to France; the Havanatur and Cubatur travel agencies and the Cubanacan and Islazul hotel chains, as well as the associated Iberostar and Blue Diamond Hotels and Resorts.

Held annually, this Fair offers the public a continuous program of entertainment activities, practices and lectures that allow visitors to know more about tourist destinations.
