Cubana de Aviacion to Start Nonstop Flight to Costa Rica

As part of the actions aimed at sharing tourism experiences between Cuba and Costa Rica, and in an effort to resume nonstop flights that have traditionally bound the two nations, Cuba’s flagship carrier Cubana de Aviacion is announcing the reopening of flights to the Central American nation, beginning November 16.
The twice-weekly, two-and-a-half-hour flights will leave Havana on Thursday and Sunday morning. For this operation, the company will use 85-seat Antonov158 aircraft, the latest addition to Cubana’s fleet.
This new nonstop flight opens up great opportunities to tighten ties between Caribbean and Central American nations, as well as a chance to foster multi-destination offers within the region.
The flight can be booked now at the Cuban company’s airfare offices and outlets, or through the network of travel agencies.
