Delta Expanding Turks and Caicos Service from East Coast

Delta Airlines will expand its services from Boston and New York Kennedy to Turks and Caicos with the launch of year-round Saturday flights from both gateways on March 8.
"While many airlines are decreasing services, we are pleased that Delta acknowledges Turks and Caicos as a prime Caribbean destination," said Ralph Higgs, director of tourism. "The additional airlift will make Turks and Caicos more attractive to vacationers traveling from or connecting through these East Coast gateways."
Providenciales Airport currently is in the midst of a $10 million expansion project, with completion set for late 2014.
Delta currently operates daily nonstop service from Atlanta.
